Because these two parts of the seat are subjected to long-term pressure and friction, they are also the parts we are most likely to observe. . The leather surface of tripe and cow neck is poor, and is generally used for the skirt part of the seat or the part that is not easy to see. The leather and cloth have a certain stretching direction. The phenomenon of unevenness is mostly caused by improper cutting direction.
The second step is sewing. After the leather is cut, the sewing process begins. There is also some particular attention here. Generally, a sponge with a thickness of 12 to 15 mm with a mesh bottom is placed under the leather, which is also called Chaoli Mian. Note that some shops cut corners here. When sewing, it is very important whether the worker is a skilled worker. Once the leather is stitched, it cannot be changed again, otherwise it will leave obvious pinholes on the leather. When checking, pay attention to whether the needle distance of the top thread is uniform and whether the leather head has Exposed, whether there are burrs and thread ends, whether the color of thread and leather is the same, etc.
The third step, set the seat, simply put the sewn leather cover on the seat. Simple to say, not so easy to do. When putting on, the leather cover will be torn or scratched accidentally. After putting on, the leather cover should be attached to the seat by tapping and pulling. The staples that fix the leather cover should be rust-proof. The size and tightness of the nail distribution should be consistent. When assembling the seat, the seam between the seat cushion and the back cushion should be symmetrical and neat.
The fourth step is to replace the seat. The door and interior space are limited, the size of the seat is not small, and it is relatively heavy. When reinstalling, it is necessary to avoid scratching the seat surface and not touch the car paint, so it must be done according to the requirements of the reinstallation process, otherwise, If you are not careful, you will lose all your efforts.
